Hello fellow adventurers Happy Monday, this is your intention episode for the week, it’s the shorter episode, and I’ve got a few little things to tell you about it. So in the month of March, and moving forward this year, I have a lot of working from different locations.
And because of that, I think it’s going to be difficult for me to get the intention episode out onto the podcast. So what I want to do is do that live in the Facebook group. So if you like these, join us live in the Facebook group, you can go to the art of living big, and that will push you right into the Facebook group. And then I can share the intention without feeling like I’m doing them weeks in advance, right? Because the beauty of this is that it truly is the intention that I’m holding for the week. And I just offer it to you as food for thought if something that you want to pick up to.
But if I’m doing them weeks in advance, it sort of ruins the whole the whole thing about it. So when I get back in town, maybe we’ll bring them back to the show. But just so you know where to find it. You know, it’s interesting, because I was looking at intention, I have a, I have a dictionary here, like a dictionary thesaurus that I love. I love words. And I love to look through and just see what the different words actually mean. And I looked up intention, and it’s a thing intended, like an aim or a plan. But then the second option of what it means is the healing process of a wound.
And I actually love that so much. Because I believe that when we can set an intention for what we truly want as the outcome, we can begin to heal. And we can begin to see the areas of our life where we need to shift or see things differently so that we can move more into a whole part of ourselves and feel really good every day. Right, which is really the goal. I want to tell you a couple quick stories about some intention, things that have happened to me over the last like four days. I I talk about intention a lot. But I truly try and stop and say what is my intention for things.
And last week, I was flying home from LA and I got up and I I had an appointment with a client. And then I looked at my calendar. And because the appointment with the client was like 10 o’clock East Coast, it was still like 730 in the morning, you know, because I was West Coast. And my flight didn’t leave till one West Coast. And I thought to myself, I should have gotten an earlier flight.
And as soon as I thought that I put my hands together, you know, like in a prayer kind of way. And I said, thank you so much spirit, you know, and I call it spirit universe, whatever source energy, but thank you so much spirit for, for giving me this opportunity to experience so many cool new things this week and to be able to travel like I love this. I have had such an incredible week. And literally my hands were still together in a prayer formation. When when my phone rang and I looked down and it was Delta, my my airline that I was flying.
And so I answered the phone and they said we are overbooked on your flight, could you take an earlier flight? And we’ll give you a free flight voucher. Like I was like, Oh my gosh, it’s like the manifestations of things coming together. Now it’s I’m in this weird space because some things, I’m going to give you a couple other stories, but some things are happening so fast and coming together so fast.
And some things feel very slow. And when that happens, I tend to think what is this showing me that perhaps what it is that I have been focused on needs to shift to what is coming quickly what could happen really quickly.
And so I’ve been trying to uncover that and just spend some time in that thought process. So I point that out just to say when I had the intention like to be grateful. My intention in that moment was just to be grateful for what I had, even though I had some contrast that I wanted to go early. So thank you so much. And then like as as if magic, right. And then I got home late Friday night.
And I I do really well transitioning to West Coast time. But when I come back to East Coast, I struggle for a few days. And Sunday morning I had a Sunday I had a really busy day. So Sunday morning I was going to visit a bunch of girlfriends To meet for brunch. And then my daughter wanted me to come and see her, even though I bought her a car so she could come and see me.
And then I was going to the UGA baseball game with my husband. And I got up in the morning to get ready to go meet my girlfriends. And although it was, you know, like eight o’clock in East Coast time, I still felt so much West Coast time. So it felt like, you know, five o’clock in the morning, I was really dragging. And I was super overwhelmed, because I knew I had such a busy day.
And so I started back down my driveway and got through my neighborhood. And just as I was about to pull on to the main road, I felt like I was gonna cry, you know, that, like, overwhelmed, like, I don’t want to do this day. And so I pulled over, and I was like, okay, hang on. Because I want to focus on what it is that I really want and what’s happening here. And so I asked myself, What do I really want today? Like, what’s my preference, not what everybody else wants me to do or not what I should do. But just in the quiet of me and myself?
What is it that I want? And I was like, I really want to go meet my girlfriend’s, I want to see my daughter, but I want her to drive to me. And I wish I could hang out with my husband, but I don’t feel like going to that baseball game. And so I was like, Okay, well, the very first thing that I said I wanted was to go meet my girlfriends. So I’m just going to drive there and go do that.
And so I started driving again. And then I get a phone call from my daughter. And she said, Where are you? And I said, I’m in the car, and I’m driving, you know, to meet my friends. And she said, Well, I’m driving up to near your house to meet my friend, Abby. So I’ll just wait. And then I can just see you up near where you live thinking. So I was like, Oh, perfect, exactly what I wanted.
And maybe two minutes later, maybe not even my husband called and he said all the tickets are sold out for the baseball game. So we can’t go. And I feel bad because I know we would have had fun. But I was so relieved. I was like, Oh my gosh, this is so great. So when we can get clear when we have the intention, and we get clear on what we really want, it becomes so much more natural for it to flow to us.
So that brings me to my intention for this week, is to get really clear. I’ve pulled out loads of lists and things. And I’ve I’m trying to look at everything and say, Where am I not clear? If I’m not getting the result that I want right now? Where am I not being clear? Where am I being hazy? Where am I giving out mixed signals right to the universe about what it is I really want. And when I say universe, if you’re new here, I also mean to my subconscious brain, because I believe that those two things are connected. And so when I am connected to the universe, synchronicities can happen.
And when I am programming my subconscious in a way that helps me see the opportunities around me. And those two things are connected in the field. And so when I get really clear, it helps everything get in sync. So my offering to you this week is to look at your life. Look at your schedule, look at what your goals are, is it clear is that a space where you feel really clear, and you are like crystal clear on what the intention is, and what you really want to have happen.
Now, I have a process for this that I typically use with my clients. But I think I might do a show on it, we’ve got a couple more of the step one, step two, we’ve got three, four, or five. And then let’s go dive into that. Let’s break that down so that you guys can see the very best way to set up a goal
to set up a goal using your subconscious. Now, before I leave, I want to say I have an extremely rare opening right now on my calendar for a one on one client I I haven’t had an opening for a one on one client that hasn’t been taken like immediately by a past client in a year, maybe more.
