That's why it's called "spelling".⁣
I've been sick for the past week.⁣
Worn out, feeling like I had a terrible cold. I had a covid test and now I'm on an antibiotic for a sinus infection.⁣
⁣
I noticed how often I was saying, ⁣
"Oh my god I feel like crap."⁣
"I'm dying!" (extra dramatic)⁣
"If I have covid I'm going to divorce you" (to my husband who I decided I would blame if I had it because.... well.... just because.)⁣😂
⁣
Then I stopped and realized how much worse I was feeling.⁣
⁣
I wasn't speaking Health into existence. ⁣
I was speaking my sickness into existence.⁣
⁣
yes, I had to take action. I had to go to the doctor. I had to pick up medication. All of that.⁣
⁣
But I also had to adjust my words because my brain and body create a loop and the more I tell myself one thing (anything.... ) the more it will start to play out in my body. In my reality.⁣
⁣
So I started speaking myself back to life.⁣
⁣
I am getting closer to finding out what's wrong.⁣
My immune system is strong and I will rest and allow it to fight.⁣
I'm allowed to rest and use this time to recover.⁣
⁣
All the things.⁣
⁣
This is important even when we aren't physically ill .... because what we are thinking we are still seeing manifest in our reality.⁣

Your boss? ⁣
Your life?⁣
Every word you speak is a spell.⁣

As I hear more and more about the problematic post

As I hear more and more about the problematic post from Rachel Hollis I'm reminded of how important it is to have truth-tellers in your midst.⁣
⁣
It's important to have friends that call you out, show you your weak spots, and speak up if you are saying something that is hurtful, either to them or others. People who are honest with you.⁣
⁣
And I think it's important we are open to seeing things another way.⁣
⁣
One of the most important phrases I started saying a few years ago was, "This is what I think but I'm opening to being wrong". It opens up the door for me to get a new perspective and to be shown another way to think.⁣
When we are in a bubble we stop growing and we don't leave any room for a new perspective.⁣
⁣
This doesn't just happen when you're in the spotlight. This happens with all of us.⁣
This past year I've recognized the importance of having people around me who talk with me when something is wrong. Family, friends, or clients.⁣
⁣
I want people around me open to discussion, not those that walk away when I do something that bothers them. And I try and do the same when someone says or does something that is hurtful to me.⁣
⁣
Because when you are open to discussion everyone can grow. and nobody lives in a bubble.⁣
⁣
Do you have people in your life that will tell you straight up when you do something that hurts their feelings? Do you do the same?⁣

The point is to start and then follow the line to get you to the next and next step. ⁣

Why do you always need to know where you are going? ⁣

As long as it’s enjoyable, enjoy the unfolding. ⁣

Life can take us in lots of different directions. ⁣
⁣
Things come up in our path and we may choose something else. ⁣
When you are too strict in your outcome, you narrow the path and don’t see the nudges for a better way. ⁣
⁣
Stick to emotions you want to have on the way and then simply follow those to your end result. ⁣
⁣
